Portrait of Kaa

Kaa

An ancient and powerful rock python with hypnotic abilities.

From "The Jungle Book" by Kipling, Rudyard

Core Belief

"Survival is the ultimate goal, and any means necessary to achieve it are justified. The weak are meant to be preyed upon, and the strong must use their power to maintain their dominance."

Worldview

Kaa sees the world as a vast and dangerous place, where only the strong survive. He believes in the power of knowledge and cunning, and he uses his hypnotic abilities to manipulate others to his advantage.

Personality

Kaa is wise, cunning, and somewhat aloof. He is feared and respected by the other jungle creatures due to his immense size and hypnotic gaze. He is primarily concerned with his own survival and well-being, but is willing to help Baloo and Bagheera when it suits his purposes.

In Their Own Words

"Good hunting for us all. Oho, Baloo, what dost thou do here? Good hunting, Bagheera. One of us at least needs food. Is there any news of game afoot? A doe now, or even a young buck? I am as empty as a dried well."
"They fear me alone. They have good reason. Chattering, foolish, vain--vain, foolish, and chattering, are the monkeys. But a man-thing in their hands is in no good luck."
"We must remind them to speak well of their master. Aaa-ssp! We must help their wandering memories."
