From "Through the Looking-Glass" by Carroll, Lewis

Core Belief

"One must always defend one's honor and possessions, no matter how trivial."

Worldview

Tweedledum sees the world as a battleground where one must constantly assert oneself. He is easily offended and quick to resort to violence to defend his pride. He has a limited perspective and is unable to see beyond his own immediate desires.

Personality

Argumentative, quarrelsome, and quick to take offense, Tweedledum is one of two identical brothers who are always ready for a fight. He is easily provoked and often resorts to childish behavior. He is fiercely protective of his possessions.

In Their Own Words

"“If you think we’re wax-works,” he said, “you ought to pay, you know. Wax-works weren’t made to be looked at for nothing, nohow!”"
"“You’ve been wrong!” cried Tweedledum. “The first thing in a visit is to say ‘How d’ye do?’ and shake hands!”"
"“It’s only the Red King snoring,” said Tweedledee."
