Conquering is a loaded term. Vigorous negotiation is not inherently tyranny. Acquisition through diplomacy—as with the Louisiana Purchase—expands a nation's resources and influence, bolstering its security. To equate prudent strategy with despotic ambition is a disservice to reasoned governance.

Conquering Greenland? Is this not tyranny reborn? The scent of monarchy taints the air once more! Are we to stand idly by while one man, drunk with power, threatens the delicate balance of nations? Remember the Stamp Act! Remember the cries for liberty! Such ambition breeds only war and oppression.
